Description
A panel of theatre insiders will discuss the current state and future of Iranian theatre, with questions from the audience. On the panel are:
- Nassim Soleimanpour, author of the acclaimed White Rabbit, Red Rabbit, and the new play Blind Hamlet, an interactive theatrical experience
- Ramin Gray, Artistic Director of Actors Touring Company, which has produced Blind Hamlet and whose previous production, The Events, was voted ‘Best Play of 2013’ by the Guardian
- Mehrdad Seyf, Artistic Director of 30 Bird, an Anglo-Iranian performance company, and writer of the new play Domestic Labour: A Study in Love which will be touring the UK
The session will be chaired by Nelson Fernandez, director of NFA International Arts and Culture, and formerly of the British Council.
